Joyent Slingshot: Free Your Rails Applications
An interesting new web product from Joyent was unveiled and bears watching:
“Joyent Slingshot allows developers to deploy Rails applications that work the same online and offline (with synchronization) and with drag into and out of the application just like a standard desktop application.”
Instead of just working for their own applications, it looks like any RoR app can be used with it. Looks like a solid competitor for Adobe Apollo to me.
